Laminated Wood Sheet Processing Technology

Laminated wood-board is used for insulating and supporting parts in transformers, as well as pressure plates and clamps for coils.

Processing technology: Qualified base material -- soaking once -- soaking twice -- rotary cutting -- veneer drying -- veneer shearing and repairing -- coating and assembly-- pre-pressing -- hot pressing. (Adopting low-medium adhesive and under high-pressure, use several layers of veneer, each layer is 1.2-2.2mm thick, criss-crossed or parallel according to wood grain.)

Scope of application: Widely used in insulation and support materials in transformers. It has the advantages of moderate specific gravity, high mechanical strength, easy to vacuum drying, good compatibility with transformer oil, and easy to process. Its dielectric constant is close to that of transformer oil, and their insulation coordination is reasonable. It can be used in 105℃ transformer for a long time. Under external force and strong electric field, it will not break down. Electrical laminated wood materials have been widely used to make insulating structural parts home and abroad, such as upper and lower pressure plates, lead supports, iron yoke pads, coil insulation pressure plates, iron yoke clamps, etc. It replaces steel plates, insulating pressboards, and epoxy boards. In this way, it reduces the weight and material cost of the transformer.
