Processing Technology Of Oil Duct Strut For Transformer Insulation Strips

Transformer coil generally use dovetail strips/runner along with dovetail spacers. The outer oil channel of the coil adopts the whole runner that adapts to the width of the oil channel, and then is fixed by bonding with glue and cloth tape. At present, each brace used in the transformer is an integral structure made of laminated press-board. Different types of transformers require different specifications of strips, which is why it has a long and complicated production process and assembly. The fixing method is complex too, and it leads to a high content of glue mixture in the oil-paper insulation system, which affects the electrical insulation performance of the transformer. For high-voltage power transformers, it require high reliability of electrical insulation. However, the fixation method of gluing will increase the risk of partial discharge. In addition, corresponding cuts need to be made at the strips where different angle rings are placed. Such strips are mostly cut with laminated press-board, making their processing more prone to damage and waste due to processing errors.
