What are the basic requirements of power transformers for insulating materials

There are three main points:

One is high voltage resistance, that is, the breakdown voltage of the material meet the requirements;

The second is high temperature resistance, which can withstand extremely high temperatures without decomposition when the transformer is overloaded;

The third is high flame retardant, it will not burn even at very high temperature.
